- A.G.M - The Annual General Meeting of The Marketeers Carnival Club has been set for Monday January 4th 2010 7.30pm start. Taking place in the function room of Bar27. Apologies please (if any) to a committee member or to Michael Butt.
- Cabaret Show time – The next Cabaret is Sat 12th December. We have over 325 people attending the cabaret and once again we will be looking for extra help from all aspects of the club on the night of the Cabaret. This is vitally important as the last cabaret was such a success due to the help and support we received from all aspects of the club. Please, Please make a note of the date in your diaries and come down to lend us a hand. The quicker we get people served the more money we can make and have to spend on a county cup winning entry in 2010.
- Upcoming Bars – The club have a bar on the 5th December 2010 at Broadway village hall, this is a wedding for one of the club members and we feel that we will need assistance for this event. If able to help, please contact myself or a fellow committee member to advise us of your assistance
- Getting Old Disgracefully – on a personal note I would like to thank everyone that attended my 30th birthday party (Held over Concerts) and for the kind gifts, especially the wonderful and touching gift presented to me by the club.
- 50th Anniversary celebrations – a date and a venue have been booked, Saturday 5th June 2010 @ Chilton Trinity School, we have invited a guest speaker (who has agreed) and also booked a comedian. Tickets are priced at £20 per person.
- Buy-a-Brick Scheme – A deadline of 1st December has been set for people to purchase bricks, so if you wish to be immortalized in Marketeers History you will need to purchase one by this date! As requested we are also accepting payments in installments. Therefore if you haven’t got the money to spare in one lump sum, you can pay in monthly or weekly installments, please speak to Jones about this venture.
