We are pleased to announce that today Sedgemoor District Council’s finest. Has today granted us Planning Permission to build a 80ft x 80ft new carnival shed on land at Bristol Rd. Work on the site we start on 23rd November (A week after Weston Carnival) all going well we hope to move the cart on to the site Easter weekend 2010 and start building a 100ft entry for the 2010 Carnival With the sacrifice the club has made on our 2009 Entry we have now have a little over half the cost of this project and could still do with your support. Buy-a-Brick Scheme – A deadline of 1st December has been set for people to purchase bricks, so if you wish to be immortalised in Marketeers History you will need to purchase one by this date! As requested we are also accepting payments in instalments. Therefore if you haven’t got the money to spare in one lump sum, you can pay in monthly or weekly instalments, please speak to David Kirk about this venture. 16-06-09 Buy A Brick Appeal In an effort to raise funds for the re-location of the Marketeers Carnival Club cart building shed, The Marketeers Carnival Club in association with Etch-it of Bristol are pleased to announce a buy a brick scheme. Each brick will be individually engraved with the message of your choice (maximum 2 lines 16 characters per line). are priced at minimum donation of £50.00* per brick The bricks will be permanently displayed within a special area of the wall within the new shed and each owner of a brick will also receive an individually numbered certificate which will bare both the message engraved onto the Brick and the location within the specially designated area.
