Skullduggery on the high seas was the theme for Bridgwater's Marketeers CC. The deck-bound pirates yo-ho-hoed among the crow's nests under the skull and crossbones to the sound of
Cannon-fire.
The 1985 winners float had 25 moving parts and 15,000 light bulbs. Manning the rigging were
Alan Elson, Jon Dibble, Chunky Dunster, Jon Knight, Jason Davey, Steve Wright, Phil Dunster, Adrian Home, Mark Mason, Jason Butt, Dave Bell, Tony Cushing, Steve Spudesc, Jon Richards, Darren Bennett, Neil Carter, Phil Bailey, Adrian Howles, Steve Adlam and Dean Waite.
